At Level 6 you gain access to Frost Nova and Static Field.Don't waste your time with individual monsters. From this point onwards, Elite Groups are your primary focus when it comes to killing monsters.Add both the Tome of Town Portal, and the Tome of Identify if possible. Buy some Life, lots of Mana and Stamina Potions from Akara. If you have 3.500+ Gold, check her for a +x to Charged Bolt Short Staff. Get to Akara and sell everything you got from the Den of Evil.Move close to individual targets to focus the bolts on them. Engage big density from afar and move close when you want to kill individual monsters. Charged Bolt is your primary Skill for a while.Clear out the Den of Evil and pick up items to sell, like Ring s, Amulet s, Charms, etc. and I still look forward to trying out a new skill combination for my next char. I've played several hundred hours in D3 and I think just under 1000 POE. This game is a lot more complex than D3, but imho it is well worth getting into. I found that usually, every major game update will grant you a free full reset, if changes are made to the tree. So, each league introduces a new modification or game mechanic to the game and runs for about 3-4 months. I play almost exclusively self-found and I have reached the map stage (think mid-level Greater Rifts) with two characters in Talisman. There are a number of cheap builds, that don't require much currency investment. Absolutely! You can create parties, guilds, share a guild stash.Ĥ. I've not PvP'd so I have very little detail there.ģ. For example, you can cast a Fireball (Active Skill) that is supported by Multiple projectiles (Support), which results in firing 3 (or 5) fireballs at your target instead of one.Ģ. Active skills can be things like a weapon attack or a spell, whereas support skills add modifiers to that skill. Each gem represents either an active skill or a support skill.
